He’s led companies through facilitated workshops and managed engineering and consulting practices opening them to the art of the possible. The results: grocery coupons delivered millions of times daily in retail stores, H&R Block’s #1 app, an award-winning food locker system, and a best-in-class Digital Transformation business awarded three years in a row all generating eight or nine digit revenues annually.


Clients include hyper-growth corporations, closely held companies, and non-profits like the Washington Business Alliance, Costco, Avanti Markets, Kimberly-Clark, Catalina Marketing, Safeway Stores, UST, and Cognizant.


Lawrence’s literary debut, “Facebook for Your Business,” hit the shelves in 2012, breaking down the art of profiting from social media. “Boldly Venturing: Lessons from the Road Less Traveled” shares his life lessons and writing exercises to help you see differently and solve problems confronting you.

  • The first portable Asthma/COPD device and support system for medical providers.
  • Modernizing legacy systems at Anthem Healthcare and Dunn & Bradstreet's core product while earning three best-in-class awards for digital transformation three years in a row.
  • In the dawn of IT outsourcing, we defined an $80M a year rigorous and repeatable process to de-risk offshoring we named "Portfolio Analysis," launching Cognizant into the industry limelight.
  • Evolving the product roadmap at Avanti, opening new markets and verticals, and launching three new hardware platforms, driving eight-digit growth and setting us up for higher multiples when we were acquired in 2021.
  • At UST, three awards for best-in-class software testing services.
  • As a contributing author for Wired, I wrote about the rise of the Chief Customer Officer, digital wallets, Social Media Monitoring, and streaming media circa 2013.
